About Music Trails
We're building the network that musicians deserve — one that puts artists first and makes meaningful connections easy.
Our Mission
Music has always been about connection — between artists and audiences, between bandmates and collaborators, between the stage and the crowd. But in the digital age, those connections have become fragmented across a dozen platforms, none of which were built with musicians in mind.
Music Trails changes that. We're creating a single platform where musicians can discover each other, form communities, find gigs, and grow their careers — all in one place designed specifically for the music community.
What We Believe
Artists First
Every decision we make starts with one question: does this help musicians? If not, we don't build it.
Real Connections
We're not about followers and likes. We're about genuine relationships that lead to real collaboration.
Local & Global
Music is both hyperlocal and universal. We help you connect with the scene in your city and artists worldwide.
Privacy Matters
Your data is yours. We don't sell it, and we give you control over what you share.
Quality Over Quantity
We'd rather have a smaller community of engaged musicians than millions of passive users.
Always Improving
We listen to our community and constantly evolve based on what musicians actually need.
Our Story
Music Trails started with a simple frustration: why is it so hard for musicians to find each other? Social media is built for broadcasting, not connecting. Gig platforms are transactional. Forums are fragmented.
We imagined a platform that combined the best of all these — the community of forums, the discovery of social media, the utility of gig platforms — into something built from the ground up for musicians.
Today, Music Trails is growing into that vision. We're still early, still building, and still learning from our community. But every day, we get a little closer to the network musicians deserve.
The Team
Musicians building for musicians
We're a small team of musicians and developers who believe the music community deserves better tools. More team info coming soon.
