Treat every member with respect, regardless of their skill level, genre, or background.

• Use welcoming and inclusive language
• Respect different musical styles and preferences
• Give constructive feedback when asked
• Celebrate others' achievements

🚫 No Harassment

Harassment of any kind is not tolerated.

• Personal attacks, insults, or threats
• Discrimination based on race, gender, sexuality, religion, or any other characteristic
• Unwanted sexual advances or explicit content
• Doxxing or sharing others' private information
• Stalking or repeated unwanted contact
• Bullying or intimidation

✅ Keep It Authentic

Be yourself and be honest in your interactions.

• Use accurate information in your profile
• Don't impersonate other musicians or entities
• Only share content you have the right to share
• Be transparent about your intentions

📢 No Spam

Keep the community focused on meaningful connections.

• Don't send unsolicited promotional messages
• Avoid excessive self-promotion
• Don't post repetitive or irrelevant content
• No bots or automated messaging without permission

🔞 Keep It Appropriate

Music Trails is for users 13 and older. Keep content appropriate for all ages.

• No explicit sexual content
• No graphic violence
• No content promoting illegal activities
• No content promoting self-harm or dangerous behavior

🎤 Respect Intellectual Property

Honor the creative work of others.

• Only share music and content you own or have permission to share
• Give credit where credit is due
• Don't claim others' work as your own
• Respect copyright and licensing agreements

🤝 Circle Guidelines

Circles are communities within Music Trails. Circle admins may set additional rules, but all circles must follow these guidelines.

• Circle names and descriptions must be appropriate
• Admins are responsible for moderating their circles
• Private circles are still subject to these guidelines
• Report circles that violate guidelines

⚠️ Reporting Violations

If you see content or behavior that violates these guidelines:

• Use the report feature in the app
• Email us at safety@mymusictrails.com
• Block users who are harassing you

We review all reports and take appropriate action, which may include warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent bans.

📋 Enforcement

Violations of these guidelines may result in:

• Content removal
• Warning
• Temporary suspension
• Permanent account termination
• Reporting to law enforcement (in severe cases)

We reserve the right to take action at our discretion to maintain a safe community.
